Hi, I’m Chitra Gohad, a UX designer from Bangalore with a passion for shaping meaningful user experiences. With a Master’s in Interaction Design from IIT Bombay and a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with a specialization in Typography, I bring together creativity, design thinking, and a strong foundation in visual communication to craft intuitive, user-centered solutions.
Over the past 13 years, I’ve worked on diverse projects spanning broadcast platforms, E-commerce, and Agentic AI experiences, where I focused on simplifying complexity, enhancing usability, and creating visual delight. My design approach balances research-driven insights with empathetic problem-solving, helping me bridge the gap between user needs and business goals.

When I am not designing
When I’m not moving pixels around, you’ll probably find me making a mess with paint 🎨, pretending to be a MasterChef 🍝, or binge-watching movies and series with friends 🍿
I’ve also got a serious love for adrenaline kicks..I’ve jumped out of planes (on purpose ✈️🪂), floated over valleys while paragliding, kayaked and rafted through crazy waters, flown a micro plane (yes, I trusted myself in the sky 😅), and snorkeled in some dreamy oceans. The bucket list is still very much alive!
Road trips? Always. 🚗💨 Ladakh, Ooty, Yercaud, Chikmagalur, Sri Lanka, Laos… and counting. Basically, if there’s a road, snacks, and good company...I’m in.
Learning & creating new things
Lately, I’ve been diving into the world of handmade soaps and bath products 🧼✨ crafted with natural ingredients like fruits, seeds, flowers, and more. It’s my little lab of colors, scents, and creativity.
Whenever I find time, I geek out on beauty blogs, exploring new ingredients, experimenting with shapes, and discovering fun soap-making processes.
What started as a hobby has turned into something special. Customers have loved the products, and my work even got featured in Sunday Mid-Day and The Channel 46. 💜
